Paul Weiner at Black Rock Senegal
Paul Weiner just completed several works commissioned by Kehinde Wiley for his new Black Rock Senegal artist residency, which opens this summer. Paul traveled to Senegal last week to work on-site in the studios at Black Rock and complete six artworks. Often working on the studio’s rooftop with a view on one side of the ocean and the city on the other, his abstract charcoal works on canvas mirror Dakar’s beautiful landscape, especially the black rock beaches.
